Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart: The Party Night Recap. The director of Twilight series, Bill Condon, according to sources had rented out a private

Lakers Vs. Suns : In a gripping encounter Los Angeles Lakers defeated Phoenix Suns yesterday, who looked slightly off color in the absence of Amare Stoudemire and Leandro Barbosa, who have left the side to join some other teams. The match was entertaining, but Lakers walked home taking with them a 114-106 victory. We know that the Suns used to have a very good defence but they failed to stop the rampaging Lakers from stealing away points every now and then.

Kobe Bryant finished with 25 points and seven rebounds, Pau Gasol had 21 points, Lamar Odom had 18 points and 17 rebounds. Bryant was superb yesterday as he made nine of 19 shots in 34 minutes. Talking about Bryant, Lakers Coach Phil Jackson said, "He was in cruise control, just played at the level of the game, did a really nice job. Defensively, I think he's starting to come around a little bit. I'm watching that part of his game a lot."

The Lakers Coach Phil Jackson said was jampacked and lots of LA fans were present in the stadium to support their stars. "I think there's a lot of L.A. population here that comes out to root for the Lakers and I think it irritates the [local] faithful," Jackson said. "I think that's where a lot of the rivalry comes from."

The Lakers were leading 87-79 through three quarters and Odom was looking in great touch at that time. "Lamar was very good tonight," said Jackson, who completed his 1,110th victory as NBA coach yesterday. Gasol added nine assists and eight rebounds. "I think a lot of good things happened when the ball went in the post. Whether it was me scoring or me finding open guys and then getting open shots, it was very productive," said Gasol after the match.

Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart: The Party Night Recap

Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart: The Party Night Recap. The director of Twilight series, Bill Condon, according to sources had rented out a private room at the Fleming’s Steakhouse. The event was attended by about 30 people in total. The guest list included Taylor Lautner, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and also Nikki Reed. It of course had the sweethearts Rob and Kristen being their complete affectionate self and had each other in front of their cast members. They were reported to keep holding hands “all night” long.

The person who was missing was Ashley’s man Joe Jonas. It is alleged that Joe couldn’t bite into the vampire coven. The cast had reached the restaurant around 8:30 PM and they stayed in until late 11 PM at night! The famous stars had a full five-course meal and they ate almost everything from the Prime NY Strip steak, crab cakes, soup and salad. They even had “fresh redfish” that was flown in especially for the occasion! They finished their meal with their own choice of fresh berries, cheesecake, and creme brulee.

The cast was reported to be “extremely nice” and every person was seated in their seats throughout the night. Instead walking around the joint the guests proffered to stay together on their seats. As reported, the people present also asked for the “music to be turned down.” This was done so that they could hear each other talking! Rob was in a vintage T-shirt with an unbuttoned shirt over it with slacks, and Kristen wore jeans. They both were seated right next to Ashley and Nikki and the director Condon. They had spent most of the night talking to them.

After the dinner was over, each of the guest were picked up by the same black SUV’s that had dropped them off at the place. The director and one of the producers split the bill, just as reported. This is just the beginning of the several dinners that the cast will be have together — they will be in Louisiana for the next seven months finishing the latest installment of the Twilight.

Boston Celtics Vs New York Knicks : Rondo Shines In Celtics Victory

Boston Celtics Vs New York Knicks : Boston Celtics' star Rondo contributed a career-high 24 assists yesterday to help Celtics secure a 105-101 victory over the New York Knicks. Rondo's 24 assists in a single game was second-most in the history of the franchise and the most since Bob Cousy had 28 in 1959. “It means a lot, but I’ll try and catch him. (It’s) all about the teammates. If they don’t make the shots, we don’t get team assists,” said Rondo, who had 10 points and 10 rebounds. In March, Rondo had contributed 18 assists in the match against Sacramento.

“If you’re not ready, he’ll embarrass you. He’ll hit you right in the head with the ball,” said Kevin Garnett, who scored 24 points with 10 rebounds.“He’ll see something you didn’t see, but he’ll make you see it.” Eight of Garnett’s 12 baskets were possible due to Rondo's assists and six of the seven baskets of Glen Davis were possible only due to Rondo.

Rondo had four assists to Paul Pierce, three to Ray Allen, two to Shaquille O’Neal and one to Marquis Daniels. “He pretty much got everyone involved. He got the popcorn man involved. He got the announcers involved. Everybody. It was beautiful to watch,” said Pierce, who scored 25 points with 14 rebounds. “

Stoudemire was the top scorer for the Knicks with 27 points. Wilson Chandlerscored 19 and Raymond Felton 17. Landry Fields had 11 points and 10 rebounds. This was Knicks first loss after winning its opener on Wednesday. Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni hailed Rondo saying, “He is one of the best point guards, no doubt.”

Canon S95 : Canon PowerShot S95, Compact & Amazing

Canon PowerShot S95 review : The fall lineup of Japanese camera maker Canon is very advanced and the Canon PowerShot S95 is the best example of this. This device has amazing advanced controls and its image quality is similar to the Canon PowerShot G12. Canon has introduced four primary upgrades to the S95—720p HD video, RAW shooting, HDR (High Dynamic Range Shooting mode) and Hybrid Image Stabilization. The design or imaging system of the device is the same but it is expected that the next year's version of the Canon PowerShot S95 will come with a new design.

The Canon PowerShot S95 looks like any other compact point-and-shoot camera. It comes equipped with several camera controls and the most important controls is located smack dab in the middle of the device. It has 3.8x optical zoom and tiny rechargeable lithium ion battery pack. The display is 421,000-pixel. The S95's popup flash also makes the device compact.

Handling the Canon PowerShot S95 is quite easy due to the presence of the rear Control Dial. The camera also boasts of a Self-Timer feature, which could be set up to 30 seconds with a range of up to 10 consecutive shots. The PowerShot S95 also uses Canon's latest Hybrid Image Stabilization technique. Besides, standard scene modes, the S95 was upgraded with Canon's latest Super Vivid, Poster, HDR, and Nostalgia modes. The Lens Ring allows the users to control the focal length. It enables the users to shift the focal length in increments between 28mm (full wide angle) to 105mm (full telephoto). The Lens Ring controls the aperture also. To conclude, we can say that this camera is fairly good for advance photography.

James Harrison Fined for Mohamed Massaquoi Hit: May Quit NFL

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison was excused from practice today as he contemplated retirement, his agent said.

Harrison announced on a Fox Sports radio show that he might retire after being fined $75,000 for a hit that knocked out Browns receiver Mohamed Massaquoi in Sunday's game.
Yes, I'm serious.
Apparently, Harrison feels the fear of constantly being fined will prevent him from playing football the way he wants to.
But I think he's just the latest egomaniac/athlete to quit his sport because things weren't going his way.
Obviously, Harrison isn't the first guy to do it, and he certainly won't be the last. But who are the biggest quitters who came before him?
Let's take a look at the top 20 quitters in sports history.

Dayna Kempson Schacht Video

Have you seen the Dayna Kempson Schacht video? After Schacht lost her life in a car crash, it was horror for her parents to even fathom that they lost their 23-year-old daughter. The tragic loss came to an even more devastating emotional stab to the heart when a video of the crash was sent to her parents’ cell phone. Read more and see photos here!

Dayna Kempson Schacht video of her tragic car accident was sent to her parents via cell phone. Can you imagine? It was only last July that Schacht, a 23-year-old Georgia native, lost control of her car and crashed into trees that resulted in an instant death. While her parents were trying to cope with the devastating loss, it was just a couple months later that they received a video message sent to their cell phone. Included in that video? Raw footage of their daughter’s crash that was supposedly filmed in its entirety by a first responder.

Jeff Kempson, Dayna’s father recalled the anguish he felt receiving that message. He said, “It was bad enough that we lost our daughter. And now to have to deal with something like this, it’s just beyond words.”

Dayna’s mother, Lucretia Kempson, added, “When I close my eyes, it’s not fair that that video is what I see of my daughter.” I can’t even imagine!

Reports are saying that the footage wasn’t filmed to intentionally hurt Schacht’s family, but rather, it was shared among firefighters within their department. It wasn’t long before the video was being shared around town and ended up in the Kempson’s cell phone inbox.

So what has since happened to the firefighter who shot the footage? He has been suspended.

What do you think about the Dayna Kempson Schacht video outrage? Granted technology these days is absolutely a Godsend, but as you can see from this instance, it can be horrific.

Every parent’s worst nightmare is to have something happen to their child, especially in a horrific and tragic way. The parents of 23-year old Dayna Kempson Schacht have had double the pain that most parents go through when losing a child, especially because the video of their daughter’s horrific car crash was sent to them via cell phone.

Dayna Kempson Schacht was a beautiful mother of two who lost control of her car last July and hit a patch of trees. She was killed instantly. A couple of months after she passed away, her parents received a video message on their cell phone, complete with footage of Dayna right after the crash. The worst part is that the video was taken by one of the first responders on the scene of the accident.

Dayna’s father, Jeff Kempson said, “It was bad enough that we lost our daughter. And now to have to deal with something like this, it’s just beyond words.”

In the video, someone is talking in the background and says, “Hold that down for me. That’s really bad. Oh my God.”

The video was shared between other firefighters and then eventually went viral.

Dayna’s mother, Lucretia Kempson can’t get the image of the video out of her mind and says, “When I close my eyes, it’s not fair that that video is what I see of my daughter.”

Why this person chose to shoot such a horrific video is beyond me, but I can’t help but think that Dayna’s poor parents are vicitms of a form of cyber-bullying. We typically think of cyber-bullying only happening to kids and young adults, but what other label can be put on such a horrific act?

Have advances in technology pretty much extinguised people having a conscience?

My heart and prayers go out to Dayna’s parents, and the two children she left behind. I hope and pray that the video is destroyed so that they never have to see it.
